shelby1 Store Here is an original plein air oil painting featuring a scene of a house with a large tree in what appears to be a Western setting. Signed in lower right M Lemmenmeyer and painted in brush and palette knife. Dates from the mid 1900's and is framed in a vintage frame. Painting measures 20" x 24", framed measurement is 24 1/4" x 28 1/4". There are some paint losses mostly to the sky area of picture with additional losses to the left center edge area (see pics). It appears as though there is another painting below this as can be seen at the paint losses. Besides from the mentioned loss flaws, it is in VERY GOOD +++ condition, frame has some light scattered scuffs, otherwise is in VERY FINE condition.
