This is Illustration Art style art dating from 1900-1949. This Original is offered by the Collector located in Kingston, Rhode Island, zip code 02881. This is amazing work if you want Cowboys art.
A fine collection of western / cowboy art: six dramatic gouaches apparently done as advertising or promotional art either for a Hollywood movie western or for Western fiction, depicting cowboys and a damsel or two in various romantic and adventurous scenes, including astride a bucking bronco, with six-gun drawn, being comforted by a woman, a winter scene, a romantic scene on a log, and a woman in trouble on a white horse. The romantic scene in the woods is captioned on the back "Starr comforts The Fury." Two have discrete perforated stamps in the bottom: "K52" and "J43". Undated, but with the air of the 1920s or 1920s. I've seen movies posters from the era with circular insets. All are approximately 12 inches (30.5cm) diameter, on heavy paper stock. Excellent condition, no wear or tears.
