This is Realism style artwork created around 1900-1949. This Original is sold by the Dealer or Reseller located in Sarasota, zip code 34232. This is amazing to get if you like Ethnic art.

Up for auction is this Antique Western Native American Indian on Horseback Landscape Watercolor Painting. Circa 1900 to 1910. These dates were provided to me by the family of the artist. Original wavy glass and dark oak frame. Unsigned. This painting depicts a lone American Indian travelling on his horse in the wilderness. His left arm is raised as if to shield the light from the setting sun as he scans the horizon perhaps hunting for wild game. The horse appears exhausted as he trudges through the snow with his proud rider aboard. The American Indian wears traditional leather skins and cap to protect him from the winter cold. He carries across his lap, wrapped in some kind of protective sheath, what I assume is his rifle. Watercolor is painted on very thick card stock. No damage to image. Gold wood insert has some minor damage that has been repaired. See pics. Frame and painting measures approx. 25 1/2" wide x 19" high x 1 1/2" deep. Painting measures approx. 19 1/2" wide x 13" high.

Born to a Creole family in New Orleans, he relocated with his family to California in 1928. Identifying with his African-American roots, many of his creations depicted the Black experience.
This is Vintage style artwork created around Unknown. This Original Print is offered by the Dealer or Reseller located in Deland, FL, zip code 32720. This is amazing work if you want Ethnic art.

You are bidding on a serigraph print by Anna Barry the US Western artist. The print is approximately 8-1/2" x 6" and has retained some strong colors despite some toning from exposure. You can see the toning in the areas that have been most exposed to light. It has obviously been matted and has a small amount of surface loss at the corners of the print where it was apparently taped to a backing. There are some small areas that have foxing spots but luckily it is minimal at this point. The back of the print has bleed through of the scene. This print is partially glued to the cardboard you see in the picture. Also, there is a line visible in the upper left of the painting that appears to be a faint but visible pencil (?) line. Overall the print is in what I would consider fair condition. The writing and signature appear genuine compared to others listed & for sale at various sites. I am not a regular dealer of art so please ask any questions I have not covered here. I am listing this at 99 cents only because I have no idea what her work sells for. Thanks for looking and good luck if you bid. I am also listing two more of her serigraph prints today that are in better condition so please have a look - I will gladly ship them together.
