Shipping is an estimate for within USA only. It includes estimated size of packed page, weight of package, zipcode for destination, and insurance. If I have overestimated by more thank one dollar, I will refund the difference back to you via your payment method. I am posting a collection of about 15 beautiful watercolors executed on high quality ARCHES FRANCE paper and obtained in Arvada Colorado in 2008. Some are signed Frances Hren and some are attributed to him/her on the back of the sheet. Others are by CE Reed or P. Ferguson or A. Ferguson. In researching these items I found Frances Hren mentioned in the following article. It appears that these may have been executed by talented artists who also became Alzheimer's patients residing at Golden Pond Retirement Community. These pieces appear to be generated as part of an Art Therapy program "Memories in the Making" at Golden Pond Retirement Community. They are beautifully executed works of art and a poignant legacy to the artist. A couple are matted and framed. With the others: To photograph them I put them in a mat clipped to an art board so that you can visualize how beautiful they would be properly framed. The mat I had was "one size fits all" so some of the pictures view may run behind the mat. A custom mat could be cut for the picture. They do not come matted or framed unless otherwise stated. They depict scenes from Colorado and other Western/ South Western subjects or locations. Only the artist knows what inspired the picture. If you love Western Art these pieces are one of a kind with a portion of the proceeds going to St. Jude Hospital for Children in Memphis, TN. Thank you for bidding. He did, and heexplained to her why he painted it."The reason … is that he was an avid fisherman," said West, director of memory care at Golden Pond RetirementCommunity. "That was his favorite fish to catch. He lovedtrout."Loyd is a participant in the Memories in the Making artprogram, which offers comfort to Alzheimer's patients by giving them apalette of watercolor paints and a blank piece of paper to capture some partof who they are.A contest is held annually in which a jury of artists selects 65 pieces for anauction. This year, the auction is from 6 to 10 p.m. Thursday, June 14, at theTemple Hoyne Buell Theatre, 950 13th St., Denver.Memories in the Making facilitators said the program gives patients a realsense of accomplishment and achievement in a world of continual memoryloss. It also gives them a form of expression made more important by theirfailure to communicate in other ways."One of the reasons this is such a powerful program is that people with thisdisease have lost the ability to communicate," said Sara Spaulding, anAlzheimer's Association spokeswoman. "They're able to express themselvesthrough the art, and in some cases they pull upon their most pleasantmemories."The Colorado Alzheimer's Association estimates that 64,000 state residentsare afflicted with the disorder.
This is western themed art created around Unknown. This Artwork Reproduction is sold by the Dealer or Reseller located in Spokane, Washington, zip code 99203. This is amazing to get if you like Western Art art.

This is a wood framed print from Charles C.M. Russell, Bronc to Breakfast. Wood frame measures approximately 20 1/2" x 30", there is no matte and no glass. Original painting dated 1918. Natural wood frame has marks and nicks; almost look like old weathered barn wood. Found this and several other Russell prints at an estate sale some time back, and have others available in separate auction. Not sure what type of process is used; the print has a glossy finish, and looks 'kind of' like it has brush strokes on it, to make it look like a 'real' painting. This print has two nicks or scratches on the print (top in green area-photo- and by broncs tail). Also almost looks like moisture underneath the finish, near broncs face (please see photo). In addition, there appears to be black pen mark next to the cook fire. I didn't notice it at first...thought it was part of the print, but it is not. Buyer pays shipping; local pickup available with prior approval. Please see calculator to determine shipping to your location. Insurance is included in shipping charges. I can combine shipping on like items purchased within a one week period. Please wait for correct invoice to be sent from me reflecting shipping to your address before paying via paypal. Please see other items seller has at auction, and bid with confidence! Any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me.

This is western themed artwork created around Unknown. This Original is sold by the Dealer or Reseller located in Prestonsburg, zip code 41653. This is nice work if you like Western Art art.

You are bidding on an Original Drawing by the listed western cowboy artist Hank Lawshe(1935-1993). This exact work was featured in a recent auction at Cowan's in Cincinnati, Ohio and will include the original catalogue. This piece was estimated at $1,000-$1,500 dollars and is shown in the catalogue for reference of appraisal. Lawshe was born in Los Angeles in 1935 and died in 1993. This original pencil, graphite drawing is of a cowboy during the Indian Wars with gun in hand. 11.75" top to bottom and 8.75" across the mat. The image is clear and sharp with fine detail. This award winning artist, Hank Lawshe biography is as follows: After growing up on the family farm in central Illinois, Lawshe worked as a mechanic and soldier, with five years as a champion race car driver. He began his career in art as a sign painter, and in 1966, accepted a job as a commercial artist with a new advertising agency in Fort Collins, Colorado. In 1971, he was promoted to Vice President in management rather than art and continued to paint in oil as a hobby, selling the paintings through a sporting goods store. When his employer asked him to move, he quit and became a caretaker of a remote Montana ranch. Teaching himself to switch to fine art was difficult. In 1977, he won the Best of Show at the C. M. Russell Art Show and in 1979, he was elected a member of the Northwest Rendezvous Group. His Originals at auction of this size brings between $1,000-2,200.00 when they can be found. Please enlarge item for a close, more detailed view of the item. Shipping cost is $10.00 Priority in US. Item will be fully insured at purchase price FREE at my cost. ITEM IS NO LONGER FRAMED AS IT HAS BEEN REMOVED... ITEM COMES WITH ACID FREE MAT... BUYER MAY FRAME TO THEIR LIKING... Thanks... The paper is rather white as the lighting made the photos have a little yellow tint to them. A TRUE WESTERN ORIGINAL RARITY WITH NO RESERVE~!!!

This is western style art created around 1900-1949. This work is offered by the auctioneer located in Aberdeen, zip code AB11 6tx. This is nice to get if you like WESTERN ART art.

You are bidding on this original AMERICAN/WESTERN ART ORIGINAL by ELLING WILLIAM GOLLINGS (1878-1932) entitled 'THE BRONCO BUSTER' in a mixture of pencil/wash/watercolour (I think), on paper attached to board. It is signed Gollings, along with a horseshoe trademark. I bought this at a small auction in Scotland, along with another which I have sold privately , but I am opening this one up to the highest bidder. It came from a house clearance, unfortunately it looks as if it has been left lying around without someone knowing it's importance as there is some water/damp stains at the bottom and light fpxing at the top, but not too bad and actualy sems to blend in ok! I have taken the back off to inspect as you can see and on the reverse is written 'The Bronco Buster' with the horseshoe under and the date 1909., Also written is In Antique oak by 9.5" x 13". Also written on top left is the name 'Leua'. As you may guess the picture measures 9.5" x 13" outwith the wooden frame. The original backing to the frame has a label D. B. MURRAY, Carver, Gilder, and Printseller,, 22 SOUTH STREET, PERTH ( Perth is a town in Scotland). I havent approached the large auctioneers to sell, to avoid the large commission fees for myself and the buyer. Having done some research and looked at the writing on the reverse and compared to some of the letters written by GOLLINGS shown on the MEADOW LARK GALLERY , MONTANA website, I have no doubts this is an authentic and original piece of work by GOLLINGS, and how it ended up in Scotland , I don't know? Below a brief history of the artist, incase you don't know him: Bill Gollings (Elling William) did paintings known for their accurate accountings of the Old West. Gollings drew upon his own personal experiences as a cowboy, and was also known to have studied and admired the drawings of Frederic Remington, which often appeared in 'Harper's Weekly' magazine. Bill Gollings was born in 1878 in Pierce City, Idaho. As a boy, he spent much of his time was in New York, Idaho and Michigan. When he was twelve, he and his family moved to Chicago. At age nineteen, Gollings traveled to small mining and cattle towns in South Dakota and Nebraska where he spent most of his time as a sheepherder and cowboy. Despite his ranching activities, he had always possessed an interest in art. His first exposure to paints was at about age twenty-five when he began working with a set of mail-order paints. After selling several paintings, he was admitted to the Chicago Academy of Fine Arts on a scholarship. Returning to Wyoming, he spent time on a Cheyenne reservation as a cowboy once again. Gollings maintained his interest in art and became proficient in etching under the guidance of Wyoming artist Hans Kleiber. In 1909, Gollings built a studio in Sheridan, Wyoming, giving up ranch life. He did, however, continue to supplement his income by punching cattle and breaking horses. In Sheridan he devoted himself to his painting of western scenes, using "Gollings" and a pony-track symbol to sign his works. "Bill Gollings" died at age 54 in Sheridan, Wyoming in 1932.

This is Modernism themed artwork created around 1950-1969. This Original is offered by the Dealer or Reseller located in cheney, WA, zip code 99004. This is nice work if you want western art art.

This is just absolutely stunning! The artist captured the desolate nature of the prairie and the feeling of movement in the covered wagon convoy. The skeletons of cattle give the feeling of the need to keep moving.. The colors are a subdued pallet of browns, greens and oranges with some blues and the sky and mountains in the background. The technique is very much modernism blocky and broad. It is signed To Real Freinds DMH and painted on a composition artboard. It is in a peroid, very wide knotty pine frame. The framed measurements are 30" X 23 1/2", the painting itself about 18" X 24".
